Some of you may have already been to the previous quizzes held in Genis in support of Médecins Sans Frontières.
The next quiz will be held on Thursday 12 May at 7.00 pm in the Genis Salle des Fêtes when Jean-Michel Maquet, previously the chef and owner at the excellent Table d’Aline restaurant in St Robert will be cooking a Spring dinner.
His menu is:
Spring salad with goats’ cheese, honey and walnuts
Caramelized pork belly with sweet potato mash or,
A vegetarian option of Spring Vegetable Risotto
Dinner will be in the middle of the evening – there will be a slightly shorter quiz with a longer eating break, to allow everyone to enjoy Jean-Michel’s cooking.
Teams of up to 6 people are invited to compete but you can be introduced to others if you’d like to come and don’t have a team. In addition to the quiz there will be a raffle and also a book sale with books on sale for €1 each.
The cost for quiz and dinner is €19 with drink on sale at reasonable prices. Please state when booking if you’d prefer the pork or risotto or if you have any other dietary requirements. All profits, as ever, to Médecins Sans Frontières.
You can book by emailing From Angie Brewer at MSF.Dordogne@Outlook.com by Sunday 8 May.
